About Kim
Hey, I’m Kim – they/she.
I’m a Queer, neurodivergent yoga teacher, trainer, and artist living on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, often called Ottawa, Canada.
For me, yoga isn’t just something we do - it’s how we meet life. On and off the mat, it’s a way of moving, breathing, laughing at ourselves, and showing up with curiosity.
I’ve been teaching yoga online and in person since 2019, and I’m a lead trainer at Pranashanti Yoga Centre’s 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. My teaching is trauma-informed, restorative, and welcoming for both neurodivergent and neurotypical practitioners. I create spaces where people feel safe to wobble, try again, and celebrate being gloriously human.
I bring the full spectrum of yoga to the table - modern, accessible techniques alongside the rich history and philosophy that give the practice depth. You might leave class with a new way to move your shoulder and a story from the Bhagavad Gita that somehow makes your work meeting make more sense.
I teach with warmth, clarity, and just enough irreverence to keep things human. If you’re looking for a guide who knows their stuff but won’t pretend to float three inches above the ground, you’re in the right place.
